Last weekend we did a little camping up in the Colorado high country of the rocky mountains where the night sky lights up with the milky way and galaxy above. There was a small pond next to us and lots of wildlife to see. Summertime at it’s best! Of course up here they say they have two seasons… winter…. and the fourth of July! This was a fun night of shooting and creating fine art photography at one of my favorite hideaway places on the planet. All I am going to say is it is above Boulder at about 8500 feet. The temperatures were in the high 90’s below and 85 up here. It dropped to down 49 when I was shooting these at about 3:00 am. The things we do to get the shots.
