The morning magic hour, this is a large 9 image wide panorama scenic at a colorful dawn of the City of Boulder Colorado and beyond. Boulder is at an elevation of 5,400 feet above sea-level, the city is located 30 miles northwest of the Colorado state capital of Denver.
Boulder is home to the main campus of the University of Colorado, the state’s largest university. In January 2010, Boulder was named one of the Top 25 Destinations in the U.S. according to TripAdvisor. Lonely Planet has named Boulder the #7 Top US Travel Destination for 2012. (December 2011). Boulder has nearly 100,000 residents including over 20,000 University of Colorado students. Since 2000, the city’s population has grown an average of 0.5% each year and is expected to grow to 118,500 by 2030. Boulder also home to one of IBM’s largest and greenest data centers in North America.
