Most houses – no matter how palatial or humble these are – have special areas known as living rooms. Some living room interiors have noticeable displays of black and white photography arts…the memorable memories of the long and yonder by-gone past. These photos are the remnants of the olden times that could have been forgotten by the succeeding generations had it not been for these still mementos with hidden tales.
But what is really this term called living room and why is it called as such? The term has different names like front room, family room, receiving hall, lounge, lounge room, sitting room, or parlor. This room is one important place where the family members converge for some bonding moments. In most cases, this spot is ideal for entertaining adult friends, relatives or guests and telling, retelling and re-living histories of the yesteryear’s.
How to perk up your living room interiors is a matter of personal taste and sense of style. Rooms like these may be brushed with vibrant colors like red and yellow; or in cool shades of green and blue. Earth colors like brown, black and grey are likewise great, not to forget the pastel hues for a milder effect in the area. To highlight the walls, black and white photography will do the magic! This simple contrasting black-white combination complements any color in any part of the house.
Remembering your ancestors may be very sentimental but it is worthwhile especially for the younger ones who have not gotten the chance to know them during their lifetime. For black and white photography images, vintage frames or large collage frames will be more fitting to explain the unspoken antiquity of the images in still. Effects can be touching too especially if you have names, places, dates and events inscribed on these photos for everyone to see and imagine…history that may be repeated, relived or totally forgotten.
There are a great number of decorating ideas for your living room interiors. These concepts may be inherent in your creativity skill. You also get innovations if you are updated with the latest interior designing photos particularly with black and white photography. A single object of art and frames in varied shapes, styles and colors to house its reproductions makes a picture of a living room which is one of a kind.
Making use of a gorgeous landscape of nature with trees, flowers, sunset or sunrise in silver lining can be captivating. Together with the artworks in the living room interiors, you can rightfully compare your family room with the galleries fine art owners maintain. The only difference is that, yours can be for your eyes only, while the galleries are for public viewing. You want to keep memories very private but can be seen by friends, relatives or guests who happen to be in your receiving hall…where you pleasantly welcome them.

There are shots that have been worked on for many years just to get the storm to be in the right place at the right time? and even more ? Bo being in the right place at the right time. His gear is always ready to go and when the crack of thunder sounds, it is his calling to get out and chase a storm. In other words when everyone is running inside ( and you should) it is out the door into the thick of things for Bo. It is more than just getting a shot of a lightning bolt? it is about getting an interesting and artistic shot of lightning.
“Lightning at Horseworld” took two years to get. “The Praying Monk Lightning Storm” took three years to get. And the most amazingly the shot of the year being worked on “Lightning and The Cross” took only 20 minutes! Somethings are meant to be.
Please make no mistake, it is extremely exciting to catch some lightning bolts on camera and is even an incredible rush? but it can be extremely dangerous. So if you decide you want to be a ?storm chaser? be aware of your surroundings and have the right gear.
There have been a few times all the hair on his body stood up and he knew there was a charge building, there have also been many situations he has crawled out of. When the Budweiser Storm images happened, that was a chase that almost took him from Boulder County to Wyoming. At the start of that photo shoot: First, the remote on the camera would get hit. Next, he would jump in the back of the SUV with his feet off the ground with comfort of four rubber tires for safety. It was the most erratic lightning he has ever seen. Scary stuff. You could not tell where the bolts were going to hit next. Front of you, behind you or on top of you! So safety is always number one.
